Jesse nodded. He glanced around, sighing. After a bit, he heard footsteps walking up behind them. He froze, turning around and seeing a man approaching them. Jesse froze. Genji looked over. His eyes widened and he shrunk back a ways. He noticed the man holding a gun, aiming it at them.

“Alright. Hand over all your belongings and no one is going to get hurt.” He said. Jesse frowned, looking him over.

“Fuck off.” Jesse hissed, looking the other over. The man frowned, aiming the gun at Jesse. Jesse’s breathing sped up a bit, but he remained eye contact with the man.

“Guess you’re choosing the hard way.” The man said. He was about to pull the trigger when a sudden bark was heard. The man frowned. He was about to look over before a dog suddenly leapt up, clamping it’s jaws down on the man’s arm. The man yelled in pain, suddenly kicking the dog off of him. The dog helped, falling to the ground. It then rose to its paws again, shaking out its pelt before eyeing the man. It stood in front of the three, eyeing the other. It growled, baring it’s fangs at him. The man frowned, quickly running off. The dog barked, watching him leave.

Once out of sight, the dog relaxed slightly. It then turned, looking at the three. Genji was shaking a bit. Jesse’s eyes were a bit wide.

hanzo had instantly pulled out his own gun to point at the man but paused when he saw the dog. he blinked.

The dog looked them over before slowly approaching the others. It sniffed them cautiously before nudging its nose against Genji’s hand. Genji waited a momemt before slowly petting it.

“...Thanks girl.” He whispered quietly. The dog flicked her ear, but wagged her tail slightly.

hanzo frowned. "huh.." he mumbled.

Jesse blinked. “...She...Doesn’t have a collar on. You think she’s a stray?” He askes, kneeling down beside her.

he nodded. "i know she is. she's the resident stray. we just call her girl." he said.

He blinked. “Oh.” He said. He blinked, hesitantly petting her back. “...Well uh...Thanks girl.” He said. She barked, licking his arm. He sighed. “...Did you recognize that guy that tried to mug us?” He asked.

“I’ve never seen him around here before. Might just be a tourist or from a different town.” Genji said

he blinked. "no, he goes to the college down town. i'd recognise that voice anywhere." he sighed.

Jesse frowned. “...Do you want me to call the cops?” Jesse asked

he sighed and shook his head. "i can take care of him."
