Archer had gotten some horrible news. He'd already been having a pretty tiring day doing boring as shit paperwork, when all of a sudden he had gotten a phone call. Frowning, he had answered, and been told that Lana was... Lana was dead. She'd been in a car accident on the way to work, and even though the paramedics had tried to save her, she had died before they had even gotten to the hospital. He was frozen and silent for a long moment, before the person on the phone had asked him when they could expect him to come to deal with the body. A whimper left his throat, and he said softly, "I can't... Can I please have a few hours?" Before the other answered, he hung up and covered his mouth, starting to sob hysterically as he put his head down on the desk. The only thing he could be glad about at the moment was that AJ was with a babysitter, and hadn't been with Lana when this had happened.
