Jesse blinked. "Uh....It's a dog. She's a stray in this neighborhood and doesn't have a name." Jesse said. Jack was home now as well. He moved over when he heard talking.

"Uhm...Jesse? Why do you have a dog?" Jack asked.

he blinked and moved closer, smiling. "hey there~" he greeted and moved to let the dog sniff his hands.

She blinked, sniffing him for a moment before nudging his hand gently. Jesse blinked. "She doesn't have anywhere to go, so I...Was hoping she could at least spend the night so she didn't have to stay outside tonight." He said.

"yes." Gabe said instantly. "i'll have my next paycheque in a few days, so we can take her to the vet after, get her chipped."

He blinked. "...Really?" Jesse asked. He looked shocked, like he didn't think they'd actually let her stay here. He smiled, hugging Gabe. "Thank you Gabe." He said.

he hugged back and smiled. "she's adorable.. but also your responsibility."05

He smiled. "I'll take good care of her." He murmured, smiling. He then pulled away, looking down at her. She wagged her tail, looking up at them. He smiled, petting her head before moving off with the dog. She trotted beside him happily.

Jack watched them leave before looking at Gabe. "...You made his day." Jack murmured.

he hummed. "give her a bath, please!" he said and looked at jack. he smiled slightly. "i know."

Jack smiled. "That's good. He won't be lonely around here now while we're away." Jack said.
