Jesse blinked. “Well...It happened around the first year overwatch had disbanded. When I heard about your deaths on the news, I stayed away for a bit. After a few months, I went to visit both of your graves. While i was there I...” He trailed off, sighing. I made a promise to myself...And to you guys, that I was going to be someone in this world. I couldn’t save you two, but I made a bow to help others in need whenever I could.” He ssid.

“One day there had been an attack of sorts in a smaller city I was in while traveling. A building had caught on fire, so I pitched in to help get civilians out. I went back in to save a baby, but some debris ended up falling and crushing my arm. I had the child with so I couldn’t just give up. I...Used my knife to cut off my arm so I could get free since I couldn’t push the debris off. I got the kid out safely. I went to the hospital, they sewed me up and...Then they hooked me up with someone who made this arm for me.” He saud.


Genji sighed, watching Hanzo. Ge soon reachedul, taking his face mask off and setting it on the table.

his eyes idened. “jesus..”
he looked at genji, and his eyes instantly filled with tears. “fuck..” he mumbled in japanese and moved to hug him.

He blinked. “It’s...It’s so bad. Really. The kid lived and now I look pretty awesome with it. Plus I don’t feel pain in that arm and I can kind of make dents in metal with it now so it’s been pretty useful.” He said.

Genji blinked, looking at Hanzo when he was suddenly hugged. “Hey...It’s okay Hanzo.” Genji murmured, hugging his brother back.

he hummed. “it does look cool.” he said softly.
hanzo shook his head, rambling about how it was his fault in japanese.

Jack nodded. “Yeah. Much better then that tattoo you had.” He said. Jack scoffed.

“Fuck you that tattoo looked awesome.” Jesse said, smirking.


Genji slowly rubbed his back, shushing him. “Hanzo, it’s alright brother.” He whispered. “The fault was not yours. It was mine. I drove you to have to do that because the way I had acted. When father died, I knew it was hard on you. Yet I continued to be the party child. I never grew up. You were the one left responsible for everything. And the elders were just sick of me not behaving like I should have. And they told you to kill me

he flicked his cheek. “watch your fucking language.” he joked.
he shook his head, sobbing softly. “he.. he told me to do it on his death bed..” he said through tears.

Jesse jumped a bit at the sudden flicked. However he bowed his head. “Sorry sir.” He murmjred.

Genji shushed him, keeping him close. “Hanzo, what’s done is done. I don’t blame you for what happened.” He whisoered. “I don’t hate you. And a I never nice blamed you or hated you for what happened to me.” He murmured

he sighed. "i was making a joke, kid. i wouldn't swear if i was telling you to watch your mouth." he said and ruffled his hair. after a moment, he smiled- and all of his teeth seemed, in some way, sharp.

hanzo shook his head. "you've always been a bad liar, genji.. jesse said you had a picture of me that you'd put on a punching bag and punch for hours.."

He blinked, nodding. He then smiled. “I’ll talk to you guys in a bit.” Jesse said. He then moved off to speak to some other overwatch members. Jack watched Jesse leave before looking at Gabe. He sighed softly.

“....I really have missed you, Reyes.” He murmjred.

He sighed, keeping Hanzo close to him. “Maybe at first a I was upset, but...I’ve had time to think it over and come to terms with it. And I was more so upset at the fact that I let you down as a brother.” He whispered

gabe watched him, frowning softly. "jack, you know i hate it when you call me that.. but i missed you too." he mumbled.
he shook his head. "you never let me down.."
