He smiled and gently kissed the other, seeming quiet comfortable. Mari across from them laughed quietly, saying with a little smile, "It really is good to see you two are so happy. You're so much better than Muse's last boyfriend."

he kissed back but pulled back. "why was the last one so horrible?"

[peridot.]

"Oh, he was a terrible terrible man. Always ordering Muse around and manipulating him." Mari said, frowning sharply. Muse frowned as well, saying softly, "Bill wasn't that bad, Mom.." Mari then hissed, shaking her head, "He hit you, Muse! I'm just glad Immy told us about him when she did."

his eyes grew wide. "someone hit him?" he breathed, then looked at muse. "i will slaughter his bastard ass."

"He was just an asshole, Mike. There's no need to beat the shit out of him." Muse said quickly, shaking his head and frowning at the other.

he narrowed his eyes. "no. no one hurts my muse." he whispered.

[peridot.]

Muse said softly, kissing the other slowly, "Love, I don't even know where Bill is now. We got into a fight, and things escalated and he hit me... A few times. But he's gone now, obviously."

he frowned. "i'm going to track that asshole down and give him a taste of his own medicine."

[peridot.]

"Yeah, barn then~" He said, smiling and nuzzling the other's jaw.
