The man looked over at Gabe and Jack before looking down at Olivia. “So...This is where you ended up hmm?” He asked. Olivia frowned, watching him.

“What are you doing here?” She asked quietly.

“I’ve come to see you, Olivia. I haven’t seen you in like...Ten years. Your mother told me you were at hime with her but I was never allowed to see you. She never told me she just abandoned you on the streets until yesterday. So I did what I could to track you down. And I found you here.” He said. Olivia watched him quietly

he frowned and crossed his arms. “why weren’t you in her life in the first place?” he asked.

He frowned. “Her mother and I had some issues. We got a divorce. It was always my intention to be in her life. But things got in the way. And I didn’t know where she was.” He said. He then glanced down at Olivia. “...Olivia, I know you may not feel any love towards me anymore. But...I want another chance to be your father.” He said.

Olivia looked him over. She hesitated before slowly moving over. She then hugged the other male. Her father hugged her back gently

his eye twitched, and he frowned. “why didn’t you make an effort.” he stated. not even seeming to pose it as a question.

Jack watched them, frowning. Olivia closed her eyes for a moment before pulling away slightly. She then looked up at him. She seemed a bit conflicted. Olivia then glanced down, taking a step back. “...I’m sorry Dad. But...But I cant leave Jack and Gabriel.” Olivia whispered, a faint tremor in her voice

he frowned, and every time she called him ‘dad’, he started grinding his teeth. he narrowed his eyes at the man.

Her father watched her for a moment. He sighed quietly. “...Okay sweetheart. I understand.” He said. He glanced Jack and Gabe over before looking down at her again. “...Take care, Alright? Just...Just know I’m here if you need anything.” He said.

“...Yeah. I know.” Olivia whispered. She hesitated before hugging him again. She then looked down, closing her eyes. He slowly rested a hand on her back, watching her.

he scowled. “ok, honey, time to go.. do school work..” he said bitterly.

Olivia was quiet for a moment. Her father sighed, ruffling her hair softly. “You heard him. Go on.” He said. Olivia pulled away. She glanced her father over before looking down and nodding. She then slowly headed into the kitchen to go work on her laptop again.

Her father watched Olivia before looking at Jack and Gabriel. “...Thank you for taking care of her. I wish you all the best of luck.” He said. He then left the house, closing the door behind him.

he scowled and his lips seemed to twitch. it was probably just the withdrawal, but he was pissed. it wasn’t often a vein started to pop out of the side of his head, or he got to the point that you could actually see his jaw moving as he ground his teeth together.
