Hank blinked, scoffing. "Defiant huh? Connor, you sure you're not a deviant?" He asked.

"No sir. I self test regularly. I am aware of what I am and what I am not." Connor murmured. He tilted his head. "I know sometimes I disobey you. But believe  me when I saw its only because I'm focusing on the mission. I am not trying to delibertly disobey you." Connor said.

"I know." Hank murmured. "But you only ever seem to find trouble when you leave the damn car." Hank said.

he blinked. “the connor model is meant to be slightly defiant in irder to complete the mission.” he stated. “i am.. mostly programmed the same way, but i know when to not do something, as it’s too dangerous or could put myself or others at risk.” he stated. “such as running across a highway.@ he stated, staring at connor blankly.

Connor glanced at Maddox. He blinked. "The suspect was getting away. That was in my programming to go after her." He said.

"You got hit by a car, Connor. You could have just let her cross and we could have found a safer way around to continue the chase." He said.

"They were heading away from the road. We would have lost the trail if we didn't go after them right away." He said.

"Yeah. Well we lost them and lost you that day, Connor." Hank murmured.

he blinked. “that was surly a flaw in programming.” he stated.

Connor watched him. "My programming is to succeed in my mission no matter what. It was a slip up. Nothing more." He said. Hank sighed.

They soon arrived at the police station. "Are you alright being dropped off here?" Hank asked.

"Yes sir. I have some evidence I need to review." Connor said. "Take care of yoursefl sir. And I will see you tomorrow." Connor said, smiling. He then got out of the car. Hank blinked.

"You can go with Connor if you wish, Maddok." He said

maddox hesitated and his led turned yellow before following connor.

Hank watched them leave before looking away and driving off.

Connor glanced over at Maddox. He tilted his head. "Oh? You're staying?" He asked. "Well, come on then. This shouldn't take long." He said. He then started moving off. He seemed to slow a bit when he spotted Gavin walking owards them. He stopped when Gavin stopped in front of them.

"Oh. Now there's two of you andorid fuckers here?" Gavin asked, looking them over. He narrowed his eyes. "Hey, new guy, you should know how things work around here. We are superior to you and you will do what we say. Your little robot friend here alreayd figured that out." Gavin muttered. Connor's LED light had turned to a red color. To anyone else he would just seem completly emotionless, but he held a deep fear in his eyes when looking at Gavin. "So tin can, how about you go bring me some coffee?" He asked.

maddoxstared at gavin, before this led started to do the “loading” thing again. he moved off and onto the kitchen, returning with a coffee (albeit, cold), and looked at gavin before taking to top off and chugging half of it beforehand throwing the rest of it in his face. “know your own place.” he stated. “you do not own me. you do not own connor. you own no one. you are a snivelling little bitch who has to pay his own. other rent, since you still live in her basement. i’d say you were a dick, but with a quick look at your pants, itd seem that that’s be an inproppsr insult, as you barely have one already.”

Gavin stared at the other, clearly pissed at his reaction. "You little shit!" He hissed. He then moved to grab his gun. He quickly grabbed it, aiming it at Maddox. He then pulled the trigger. The bullet never hit Maddox though. Connor had quickly shoved him out of the way and his eyes had widened slightly. He had a hand resting on his chest, as he coughed, suddenly crumpling to the ground on his knees, a hand stil pressed over the wound. The blue blood could be seen dripping down his shirt and onto the ground next to him.

Some of the officers quickly moved over. Some went to quickly go restrain Gavin. Another officer went to go quickly check over Maddox and one knelt by Connor, a hand on his shoulder. The biocompoment in Connor's chest that regulates his mechanical heart had been damaged by the bullet. Without it properly working, he only had a short amount of time to live before shutting down.

"Do we have any extra spare parts around here?" An officer asked.

"We might in the back." One said.

"Well go search. Quickly." The officer said. A man nodded, quickly moving off. The officer closest to Connor, gently shifted him, setting him back against a wall. Connor's eyes had closed a bit.

maddox punch gavin almost instantly and turned to connor, quickly grabbing the biocompanant and ripping his own out to replace it.
