after a while, he walked back inside, frowning. “barry, would you like anything else?”

[peridot.]

He shook his head and said, smiling, "No, I'm alright. Thank you for offering, though!"

[dannychan]

he nodded and got sumo back in. “you must be tired after your trip.” he stated.

[peridot.]

He blinked and nodded, saying softly, "Yeah, a bit. But I took a nap on the way, so it's not so bad."

[dannychan]

he hummed. “why don’t you get some rest? you can sleep in my room. i don’t sleep much anyways.”

[peridot.]

He blinked and said, gently shaking his head, "Oh, no, I couldn't take your bed from you."

[dannychan]

he smiled. “like i said, i don’t sleep much. if i do, it’s only for five minutes anyways.” he said. “ifs alright.”

[peridot.]

He still seemed reluctant, but said softly, "Well... Alright, but if you wanna sleep, you can feel free to just lay down with me.." He then moved to go lay down.

[dannychan]

he smiled in his little awkward way and looked at the time. “i need to let sumo out for a bit. i’ll be back in a moment.” he said and moved off to get sumo’s leash.

He watched the other leave and sighed a bit, but just smiled and ate his sandwich before moving to wash his plate.
