Gabriel blinked, looking ahead. He fell silent.

she scowled, staring at him. "gabriel, answer me. what. did. you. do?"

Gabriel blinked. “...I don’t know Ana. I’ve just been snapping at him recently and..Probably haven’t been spending as much quality time with him as we used to.” He said

she sighed. "oh. that.. he thinks you hate him because he got the position. he keeps saying that he didn't mean to and that he'd step down and promote you up if you really wanted." she said, sighing. "but he needs money for his mothers treatments.

He sighed. “No...I don’t want him to step down. His mother’s health should be his first priority and I’m not going to deprive him of his income for that. Should she get worse and I’m the reason for that, that’s onky going to make me a worse friend than what I already am.” He said.

he frowned. "i think driving him to suicide is worse."

He frowned, watching him. Once in the infirmary, he moved over and laid Jack down on the bed.

ana sighed and moved to get off all of his equipment and coat off, sighing. she moved to get his combat boots off and anything else that might be uncomfortable.

Gabe watched him before looking away. He then took a step back.

ana frowned. "no. you stay here. i will bring you lunch."
