he eventually moved over and sat with him, hesitating. "hey.." he said softly.

[peridot.]

Richie blinked and said quietly, looking at the other, "Hey... you ready to talk?"

[dannychan]

he hesitated and leaned on him, resting his head on his shoulder. "do you.. really like me..?"

[peridot.]

"Yes, of course I do." He said, letting the other lean on him and gently taking his hand, "That's what I've been saying since we were little. I know I joke around a lot, but... but I never joked about that."

[dannychan]

he hesitated. "it's.. it's so hard to tell when you're being serious or not.." he said softly. "so.. do you like other guys or.. just me?"

[peridot.]

"I like guys in general, but I haven't had any boyfriends before this or anything. I know I like you, though." He said, blushing a bit.

[dannychan]

he looked down. "uh.. my mom.. she's really religious. you know that.. and she's still very set in the idea of.. conversion camps and.. shock therapy." he said, clearly sounding horrified.

[peridot.]

A soft growl came from the back of Richie's throat, and he said softly, huffing a bit, "Your Mom is a bitch. I will fight her, you know."

[dannychan]

he looked at him, eyes wide. "please don't.."

[peridot.]

It was after school, and Richie still felt sort of nervous, along with still pretty hurt after finding out that Eddie never thought he was being serious all the times he had said he liked him. He sighed as he sat and waited for the other, resting his head back and mumbling quietly, "How could you not get that I liked you, Kaspbrak.."
