Jack blinked. "Thank you, Jesse." He murmured. Jesse slowly pulled away. He nodded.

"You're welcome dad." Jesse whispered. Moira watched the three silently from the corner of the room. The doctors soon came back in.

"Okay guys...It's time to go." He said. Jesse glanced at the doctor. He looked at Jack before moving out with Moira.

Gabe hesitated and gave jack a long kiss. "i love you.."

Jack kissed him back, resting a hand on his cheek. Once Gabe pulled away, he looked at Gabe. He smiled softly. "I love you too Gabe." He murmured. "I'll see you soon baby. I promise." He said.

he nodded and moved away, taking a deep breath.

Jesse and Moira were in the waiting room already. Once Gabe was out, they moved over to him. Jesse met Gabriel’s gaze. “...Are you okay Dad?” He asked softly

Gabe looked at jesse- and he hesitated. he was too afraid to speak. he was exhausted, and way too emotional.

Jesse nodded, taking his silence as a no. He examined Gabriel over. He looked exhausted. “...Dad, why don’t we take you home for an hour or two? You can rest up then and we can come back after once the doctors call us.” Jesse murmured.

he shook his head. "i'm not leaving him here.."

“Dad we can’t do anything more for him right now. I know you’re worried. But you’re exhausted. You going on like this isn’t going to help him get any better and it’s just going to get you sick.” He said.

he frowned. "jesse, im not leaving." he snapped and looked down.
