He then said, frowning a bit, "I know you can be... Self-conscious and shit, but you really don't have any reason to be. Especially around me."

he looked at him and closed his laptop quietly, hugging it to his chest and seeming to shrink.

He blinked and frowned, realizing he had fucked up. He said softly, tilting his head a bit, "Wrench, c'mon... There's no need to be upset.."

he stared down at his feet, his mask glitching a little bit as it detected a huge wave of emotions.

He frowned and said softly, glancing down, "Listen, I'm sorry, man. Just forget I said anything, alright?"
