[align=left][justify][size=9pt]johanned wanted him to find a place for the greenhouse in their wintery territory. while it seemed pretty daunting, rudolf was confident in his ability to at least find a place large enough to build one. Bundling up in a heavy jacket (his right arm tucked away inside) and some snow boots, the tall man stepped outside and into the chilly air. It was warmer than it had been a month ago, but still it was too cold for him to feel comfortable out there. Breathing out a slight sigh, rudolf stepped forward into the snow, ready to explore.

He had been waking for about twenty minutes, making a spiral shape away from the lodge, when he found it; the perfect place to create a greenhouse. It was in a large clearing on top of a decently sized hill, ensuring access to sunlight for most of the day. It was also only about a five minute walk from the lodge, of that, and in a position away from the other two groups on this area. Smiling, rudolf began to mark the spot with sticks in the surrounding area. It wasn't going to snow for a few days, it seemed, so he had little fear of it being buried. If he wasn't down an arm, he would have brought something sturdier with him. But as it were, this was the best option.

It was a long process, and began to wear on the man as the time ticked on. He took few breaks, though, desperate to finish before the sun set. Still, he was a long ways off from completing the task. He didn't want johannes to think he wasn't capable of doing work around the lodge; he feared the dictator already thought less of him, considering their last meeting...

This place was barren and cold, not meant for human life, and altering that was a rather monumental uptaking, but an essential one nonetheless. Bruce's last few days had been spent planting, and planting, and planting. It felt as if he could never thoroughly scrub the dirt from underneath his fingernails now. Still, he tries. As he walks, the man has a handful of snow pressed between his palms, letting it melt and drain at least some of the earth away. An impractical habit it may be, but Bruce has always been obsessively cleanly. That was the only way to stay healthy in a world without real hospitals. It didn't help that he'd cut one of his hands on a fragmented pot. Thankfully, it had scabbed over pretty quickly, and as long as he kept it clean, he should be fine. Hopefully. That was the plan.

Sighing almost to himself, Win found himself staring at the ground, at footsteps similar to his in the snow. He wasn't too far from the lodge, but it still has him curious. Why would someone be this far out? "Hello?" he calls to the figure's back, not yet realizing that it's useless. Once he gets closer, the man finds himself snorting with laughter, circling partially so that he's instead approaching Rudolf's side. Hi he signs instead, exaggerating the gesture slightly in hopes of catching his attention. What are you doing?

He continued working until a figure appeared in his peripheral vision, and he turned to face Bruce with a smile. hi! he tries his best to be enthusiastic despite his fatigue. marking for the greenhouse. he motioned to the rectangular shape that was beginning to form on the ground. what's up? he asked the man, thankful for the easy one handed signs he had taken for granted just a few weeks before.
