Muse was nervous. Okay, so, he knew that Mike was a wonderful wonderful person, and he knew that the other would never hurt him, but he had to admit it was a bit weird to get engaged to a person after just a few days. So when he'd called his Mother - and his Father, but his Father was more shy - she'd been understandably skeptical. As he fidgeted with his clothes and waited for his parents to show up for dinner, he said quietly to Mike, "I, uhm, just so you know, my Father is very quiet a lot of the time, so if he doesn't talk much, it's not because he doesn't like you. He's just very shy." He then looked up when he heard footsteps, and he smiled as he saw his Mother and Father. His Mother, Mari Caddo, was a tall and little woman with red hair, although it was more of an orange than Immy's red hair. She had bright blue eyes, and a few grey hairs mixed in with the orange ones, but otherwise she looked rather youthful, with a red and tan scarf around her neck, and a nice outfit on. His Father, Raivis Puppeteer, was clearly where he got most of his looks from. Skinny and short, he had dark black hair and blue eyes, and he smiled weakly as they walked up. Mari was the first to talk, kissing Muse on the cheek, "Hello, sweetie. And hello to you, you must be Mike. I'm Mari, and this is my husband, Raivis."

mike, of course, was incredibly nervous, so when he saw them,he stiffened slightly and nodded. "yes i am. it's so nice to meet you two!" he said.

Muse blinked, smiled a little bit, and gently squeezed Mike's hand, trying to get him to calm down. As Mari and Raivis sat down, Mari said, smiling, "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. We've heard quite a lot about you from Muse in such a short time. I'll admit, I was very surprised when I heard two were engaged."

he smiled slightly. "well.. he's just perfect.."

That was when Raivis spoke up, smiling, "He has always been our little angel." Mari then said, chuckling and shaking her head, "Yes, well, I'm glad the two of you found each other. It took me and Raivis years and years and years to finally realize how perfect we were for each other, so it's very sweet to see how quickly the both of you did."

[dannychan]

he smiled softly. "i'm glad it didn't take years." he laughed.

"Yes, well, it was very lucky. Although... As I'm sure he's told you, I've always been very protective of him. He is our only child, after all. It just... Makes me a bit curious as to what your true intentions might be." She said, crossing her legs, and Muse said, frowning a little, "Mom, he's a very good person.."

he blinked. "ma'am, my intentions are nothing but good. i already have money and a nice house, i'm willing to help him with school.." he said, looking at muse. "and after battling cancer last year, i realised life is too short to not jump on every opprobtinity i got."
