Spartan would probably attempt to reason that he hasn't done so since the fusion thing happened - its just that one half of him consumed like entire galaxies beforehand so |D

maybe it resolves with spartan promising only ever to do it to enemies (or like the worst of the worst)? since he can't actually ignore the compulsion forever or he'd get overwhelmed pret much.

XD Bane won't want any soul to be stolen, he doesn't really see enemies of clans, he sees horrible people. But it'd be hilarious to see little Bane get angry at horse-dog-blur over there

Well over time they're not stolen anymore an they kinda just become well assimilated? - I'd explain more but I gotta keep some mystery ;3
