Edward and Oswald had moved out of Gotham together. This past month, they had found a quieter, smaller town to live there. Truthfully, Oswald didn’t mind. It was much better then having to worry about the next time someone will try to kill him or stab him in the back. They were safe here.

Edward still seemed to be struggling with a few violent impulses, but Oswald believed Ed would settle down after a while. They weren’t a couple. Oswald wasn’t going to push his luck with that. He was more then grateful to have Edward back as his friend, and he was content with just having Ed back in his life. He didn’t want to lose him again, so he had made sure to keep his feelings in check.

Oswald was currently in the living room, sitting on the couch. It was early and he couldn’t sleep any longer, so he was watching the television. He kept the volume low though so he didn’t wake Ed up.

ed hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. he had just stared at the ceiling, thinking and muttering to himself. when morning came, he moved to the downstairs area and sighed, moving to make some coffee.

Oswald looked over at Ed when he moved into the kitchen. “Morning, Ed. Did you get any sleep?” He asked. He then slowly stood up, hobbling over to the other.

he blinked and sighed. "not even five minutes.."

Oswald frowned, watching him. “I’m sorry to hear that.” He said. He looked him over. “Are you going to be okay here while I go to work?” He asked.

he blinked and nodded. "yeah. i'll be ok." he mumbled.

“Alright.” He said, looking at him. “If you need anything, you know my phone number and my work’s.” He murmured.

he nodded. "mhm." he said. "you want coffee before you go?"

“I’m fine Ed.” He said, smiling. He then moved away. “Take care of yourself.” He said.

he blinked. "i'll try, no promises." he said with a sleepy smile.
