His smile fell a bit. "Then why are you here? I know they work you hard. Go somewhere relaxing. Go home and sleep. Do something besides sitting here worrying about me. That's not a good way to spend your day off." he said.

he blinked. "i took off so i could make sure you were ok. the doctor said you might be waking up today.."

He looked him over. "That's kind of you, Brian. But I'm going to be just fine. You can leave and do other things, it's alright." Jason said.

he shook his head. "even if i wanted to, mike isn't here so i can't." he said. "he had some stuff to pick up so it won't be until another few hours until he's back.."

He blinked, frowning. He looked down. "How bad was the damage from the bullet?" He asked.

he blinked. "it didn't hit a major blood vessel, thank god. it did break your collar bone, though." he sighed and smiled. "since you've been out, they haven't given you a sling yet.. also, mike has been taking care of your pet for you.. i wasn't listening to what kind it was but.." he held up a finger and did the little thing where he rewound his memory, before smiling. "french bull dog. how cute." he giggled.

He blinked, watching him. He sighed. Just broke a collarbone? That wasn't that severe. "...Right." He said. He then managed to sit up. He swayed a bit since he was still a bit drugged from the pain killers. He winced a bit and steadied himself.
