It had been about a month now since John had moved in with Sherlock. Needless to say his life was filled with adventure practically everyday now. It was more chaotic then his previous life, but he didn’t mind. In fact, he rather enjoyed going on these cases with Sherlock.
Sherlock...That man was a mystery all to himself. One case John wasn’t sure could ever be solved. He was so hard to read at times. He acts cold and distant, but John has seen some rare compassionate sides to Sherlock. Whether Sherlcok realizes he has been doing so or not, it hasn’t escaped John’s notice. As for relationships with that man, John wasn’t sure if Sherlock could ever manage to hold down anyone. He’s always on the move, too busy to focus on relationships.
No matter how cold Sherlock is though, John has picked up on something. He genuinely does care about the victims and bringing the wrongdoers into justice. And John found out the hard way that Sherlock does feel upset and disappointed when he can’t bring justice to the families effected by whatever the case may be.
That happened yesterday. Sherlock solves a case. Found out who murdered a young girl. It was her father, but the father skipped town and had been on the run since then. Join notcied Sherlcok’s Whole mood seemed to change when he realized he could t bring the man in. It broke John’s heart to see his friend look so crushed.
So, John was determined to help lighten Sherlcok’s mood a bit. He was currently in the living room, flipping through some emails that he had received. All were about cases. He was hoping to find one that he was sure Sherlcok could successsfuky complete. John glanced over when he heard footsteps coming down the hall. “Good morning.†John greeted, knowing full well it was Sherlock.
