It was around a month later. Surprisingly, the murders had stopped. John didn’t feel right about that. Something felt off. John was just on his way home. It was later at night so it wasn’t as crowded on the streets. In fact..It was rather empty. John froze at the sound of footsteps. He turned around, only to hear a gunshot. He froze when a searing pain formed in his chest. His eyes widened when he suddenly started choking on blood a bit. He colllased onto the ground, the wound on his chest bleeding quite badly.

He glanced over, seeing Anderson and Sally walk over. Anderson was holding a gun and Sally was smirking. “Poor John. We told you to leave Sherlcok. You should ave heeded that warning.” Sally muttered.

Anderson smirked. “You are going to die here, Watson. How does that feel to know that? To know you’ll never be able to tell Sherlock how you truly feel? Never admit your feelings to him. Once you’re gone, we know what Sherlock will do.” Anderson said.

John tried to speak but coughed, blood dripping down from his mouth. Tears were burning in his eyes as he tried to breathe, attempting to get up.

and that's when two gun shots were fired, hitting both anderson and sally in the shoulders. "you know, i knew you two were idiots and that you were both dangerous but.. really? this is a while new low." he stated, aiming the gun at andersons head and then pulling the trigger, before turning to sally and shooting her in the stomach. he then took the gun they were using and moved to john, applying pressure and trying to seem calm as he called the paramedics

John’s eyes widened when the two fell to the ground. He made sure they weren’t going to harm Sherlock before seeming to relax. He glanced up when Sherlock moved over. He frowned a bit. “Sher...Sherlock? Are...Are you okay?” He managed to ask in between breaths

he hushed him and nodded. "i'm fine, don't talk ok, we aren't far from the hospital."
