he barely smiled. "yeah.. you are a prick."

Even though it was only a sliver of a smile, it made Hux's heart lift a bit, and he said softly, "Phas said she would take over my work while I was helping you. Means you're stuck with me, even if I am a prick."

he nodded and blinked. "ok." he said and continued his tiny sipping, staring into the smoothie.

"She also-" He opened his mouth and began to speak, but then he thought better of it, and looked down, saying quietly, "Uhm, nevermind. Just.. keep drinking, alright? Tell me if you need anything?"

he blinked. "tell me." he said, frowning.

[peridot.]

He sighed and said, looking down, "Alright, uhm, don't get mad at her, but... she told me how you talked about me. A lot. With words like.. 'pretty', and 'perfect'."

he blinked and turned red almost instantly. "o-oh.. did.. did she.. tell you anything else..?"

[peridot.]

"She, uh, she told me about how you stared at me. My face. And my ass." He said, blushing a bit and scratching the back of his neck.

he sighed. "i guess.. apology accepted.." he mumble d

"You... You should know by now that I'm not just gonna let you starve yourself. I was an asshole and that's why you're feeling bad, so I'm going to help you anyway I can. And you know how much of a stubborn prick I am." He said, tilting his head a bit.
