his eyes widened. "do you.. maybe have the force..?"

[peridot.]

"M-Maybe? I mean, it can't be that much, or else the Supreme Leader definitely would've mentioned it, but perhaps I can just control my head..." He hesitated a moment before saying softly, "Just... try again, okay? One more time, please. I promise I'll try to stop it."

[dannychan]

he hesutated and nodded, trying again.

Hux sighed and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and trying to concentrate. This time, his mind didn't automatically try to reject Kylo, and seemed to stay dormant. However, as the calming hand finally broke through the shield, suddenly a wave of emotions came over him, and it was as if every negative experience he'd ever had came crashing back at him. He practically wailed, covering his mouth and curling over a bit as he began to sob, overwhelmed.

his eyes widened at the crying and he drew him close, trying to calm him and his mind.

[peridot.]

Even as the calm helped a bit, he didn't stop crying, wailing and whimpering as he buried his face in the other's chest. He was trembling violently, and could barely breathe. It was a solid ten minutes or so before he finally began to calm down, taking deep and gasping breaths as he sat there.

he held him tightly, trying to completely calm him while petting his hair.

[peridot.]

He said softly, burying his face in the larger male's shoulder and trembling softly still, "R-Ren... I don't... know what happened.. i-i-it was ju.. just like.. everything ru.. rushed over me at once.. all the negative em.. em.. emotions. Everything my.. my Fath.. Father did.."

[dannychan]

he looked over he. "your mind! it keeps attacking mine!"

[peridot.]

He said softly, frowning, "I'm... I'm sorry! I didn't even think I could do that. It's not like I'm doing it intentionally. I've never had anybody try to reach into my mind before!"
