It had been about a month now since the king restored the light to the world and rid the world of the demons. The king allowed the world to rebuild, stronger then before, and give the people hope. Most people. To many, the king was just that. Their king. But to a certain trio, he was much more then just their king. He was their best friend. Their family. And to Ignis, his son. But he was gone now. And the three had been attempting to cope with the loss.
Gladio was taking it well. Not by choice. But because he had to. He lived with Ignis and Prompto. Those two have gone through so much and shut down. So it was up to him to maintain a job and support them. They have been through so much together, Glaio couldn't just abandon them now.
Gladio soon moved into the small kitchen where Ignis was. Ignis was still blind. The man could handle himself well despite that. But, what worried Gladio was Ignis's emotional state. He wasn' sure if he was pushed over the edge or not and he didn't really want to leave Ignis or Prompto alone in fear that they'd try to take their own lives. Gladio soon moved over to Ignis, kissing his cheek.
"Hey." He greeted softly. "You doing okay?" Gladio asked.
