Noctis fliched at the sudden smack, keeping his gaze down. Gladio sighed. "Ignis, you know there's nothing that can harm him now. The imperials have all disbanded and the demons are gone." Gladio said.

Noctis looked over at Gladio. He frowned. "...Gladio let me see the ring." He said. Glad blinked, handing t to Noctis. Noct then placed it in his pocket. "Im getting rid of this first thing tomorrow." He said.

Gladio looked at Ignis. He sighed, looking away. "...I knew how much you missed Noctis. I wasn't going to just sit by and watch you fall deeper into this depression. I had to try something. And besides...It worked out didn't it? We got Noctis back and you got your eyesight back too." He said.

Noctis blinked, glancing down at Gladio's arm. His eyes widened a bit. His whole left arm looked severely burned. Gladio blinked, looking down at his arm before looking at Ignis. "Gladio..." Noctis trailed off, watching him.

"It's fine, Noct. It's a small sacrifice for getting you back. I'm not upset about this." He sad.

"Ignis, you know these wounds are permanent." Gladio whispered.
