So, this was Gotham, huh? To Jason, or Ike as Brian so loved to call him, it didn't seem like much. In fact, it seemed rather off-putting. It was dreary. And he knew this town was famous for crimes. So he was unsettled to say the least. He didn't hear many good things about this town, and he felt even worse now that Brian was here. Not like the other couldn't handle himself, but he didn't need Brian running off somewhere and getting hurt or killed. Jason sighed, walking with Mike and Brian into the GCPD building.

Edward had been working in the forensics lab. He had been minding his own business for most of the day. Of course he hadn't gone without saying one or two riddles to Jim Gordon since he seemed to be the only one who tolerated him. Harvey told him off, but he was used to that now. He blinked, running a hand through his hair before standing up. He had just finished a forensics report and had to go run it to Jim. He grabbed the file, leaving the room.

Edward stopped however when he spotted three people walk in. He blinked, looking them over.

brian wasn't at all impressed, and he wasn't going to be impressed. "god, this place is in the stone age of technology!" he said, his hands stuffed in his sweater pocket. he looked to ike and clapped. "alright. we're here. give me my pill." he said, smirking wickedly.

Jason sighed, handing him the pill. "Be careful alright? I don't trust this town." He murmured. Mike shrugged.

"I won't be upset should anything happen to him." Mike said. Jason shot him a glare. After a while, Edward moved down to them.

"Do you three need something?" Edward asked, watching them.

he popped the pill and closed his eyes for a moment before opening them. he pat mike on the shoulder. "right back at you.@ he said and looked at ed. "uh, we were called here by the director? jim i think was his name- no no i know. jim gordan!"

Edward blinked. He was about to say something before Jim walked over with Harvey. "Hello there, I'm Jim Gordon." The man said. Edward blinked.

"Gordon, here's the file you wanted." Edward said, handing it to him. Jim took the file.

"Thanks." Jim said. Harvey then glanced at Edward.

"Alright. You can beat it now Ed." Harvey muttered. Something flashed in Edward's eyes. He set his jaw, but nodded.

"Nice meeting you three." Edward said, glancing at Brian and his bodyguards before moving off.

he narrowed his eyes. "actually, is he forensics? in gonna need his help."

Jim nodded. “Yes He is. That’s Edward Nygma. He’s...A bit strange, but he’s the best foresnsics worker we have here.” Jim aid.

eh hummed. "then treat him well. now give me whatever case i'm working on." he stated, holding out his hand.

Jim nodded. He handed Brian the file. “If you need him, the foresnsics room is up the stairs and down the hall. He’s usually hiding out in there.” He said

he hummed, moving off and simply flipping through the files and glancing at things before handing the file to ike.
