Mike chuckled to himself. Edward blinked, looking away. "Right, well...The body is over here." Edward said. He then lead them over to the table where the body was laying on.

brian bloinked and made a soft noise. "gross." he breathed.

Edward blinked. His eyes seemed to light up a bit. "I find it fascinating." He said, a smile on his face. Mike and Jason frowned. They grew a bit uncomfortable.

he smiled at ed. "you are forensics, after all. it's you job to be fascinated." he moved a bit closer to the body and examined it. "needle marks, right? either that or there's a one toothed vampire."

Edward glanced at him. "Yes. But that wasn't he murder weapon. This man was clearly a user of drugs. The cause death is this stab wound here." He said. He then pointed down at a wound on the male's side.

he hummed. "but what drug user injects the drug into the neck? a more likely cause for this is sedation." he said. "i'm thinking.. something like from the show dexter."

Edward blinked, watching him. He rose an eyebrow. "Dexter?" He asked. Never heard of it. He then glanced him over. "Yes, the murderer could have possibly injected him with a drug to sedate him before killing him." Edward said.

"Yeah, okay. If the drug didn't kill him, then where is the the weapon?" Mike asked. Edward glanced at him.

"Oh, they won;t find it.The weapon is no longer physical." edward said. Mike frowned.

"But let me guess, you know what the weapon is?" Mike asked. Edward smiled.

"Of course I do. It's my job to find that out." He said.

he looked at ed. "it's an icicle, isn't it?" he asked.

Edward glanced at him. He seemed slightly shocked, but pleased. "Correct." He said, smiling. Mike and Jason shared a look.

"An icicle? How can you tell that if theres no weapon?" Jason asked.

"Simply from the blood. There an increased water level in the blood, so part of the ice was left in the wound and melted in there, merging with the blood." edward said.

he hummed. "no weapon means no prints. even if it was atill there, prints don't stick on ice." he said. "which is why car break ins are more popular in winter."
