He blinked. He was about to say something before the door opened again. He looked over, seeing Jim Gordon enter the room. Jim stared at the two. “Oh. You two are a thing now?” Jim asked.

“No.” Edward siad, glancing Jim over. Jim merely shrugged.

“Right. Well...We finally managed to get a piece of the bomb that exploded two days ago. Think you can amaze to track down where the bomb was bought from?” He askes. Edward nodded. “Thank you, Ed. This guy is going to pay for what he’s done.” He said.

“Guy?” Edward asked.

“Yeah. Some villain calling himself The Riddler. Not too scary if you ask me. He may think he’s clever but he’ll slip up soon.” Jim said. Edward stared at Jim. He set his jaw and nodded.

“Well I’ll look into it.” Edward said.

he watched them taking in the signs. he watched as him left and smiled slightly. "it's you." he said softly.

Edward blinked, looking at Brian. "I don't know what you're talking about. Now if you're finished up here, I have to get back to work." He said.

"no, i'm not finished. it's you, isn't it ed? i won't tell, trust me. the way you looked at him when he said 'the riddler', the way you set your jaw and glared at him when he walked out. the yracks are completely covered. and that would explain why you know so much about these cases. because it's you."

He watched him silently. He froze, looking him over. Edward then looked away. "...I suggest you leave, Brian." He said.
