she smiled. "never seen mike do something like that. he muse like you!" she said brightly.

He blinked and blushed a bit, saying softly as he fiddled with his uniform, "Well, uhm, I'm glad? I like him too. He's very..." He looked down for a moment, fumbling with his words, "...It's hard to explain."

she smirked. "he's an idiot. he's an antisocial, moody, forgetful asshole. but i love him, and if you break his heart, i'll break you, big man!"

[peridot.]

He put his hands up, squeaking softly, "I-I don't want to break his heart! I just want to get to know him. I swear I don't have any bad intentions, I just like him.."

she smiled. "good."

He nodded a bit and said softly, biting his lip, "Ah, well, it was uh.. nice to meet you."

she hummed. "yes, my boy! i'm his designated mom friend! if he hasn't mentioned me, i'm going to beat his ass!" she huffed and waved a dismissive hand. "i'm Opal." she introduced herself. "i've known mike since he was little. since we were little! we met in the childrens hospital in jersey!"

He blinked and said softly, still seeming slightly startled, "Oh, well, uhm, it's very nice to meet you, Opal. L-Like I said, I just kinda want to be Mike's friend. He was very nice to me and let me sleep at his place when my roommate was passed out and wouldn't let me in.."
