he nodded. "have you thought about maybe.. taking a day off and going to talk to harvey?" he asked quietly.

[peridot.]

"No... not really." He said, glancing down, "Going to a doctor seems... I'm not that bad."

[dannychan]

he frowned. "they way you told me about it.. it seems pretty bad.." he said quietly, looking down into his plate.

[peridot.]

He stayed silent for a long moment, looking down at his own plte, before he made a slightly muffled surprised noise when he felt tears welling up in his eyes and his chest tighten. He rose a hand to scrub at his own face, mumbling, "F-Fuck... going to the doctor... it's a lot. It's.. stressful. I don't even know what I'd say.."

his eyes widened and he quickly stood up. "o-oh yoba! please don't cry! i didn't mean to make you cry!" he said quickly, scrambling over and kneeling down before hugging him. "hey, i'll.. i'll go with you! or i'm sure marnie wouldn't mind going! harvey is really nice, it'll be ok!" he said.

He blinked and tensed up a bit when the other hugged him, but he only hesitated a moment before hugging back, the physical affection nice when he was like this. He laughed weakly and shook his head, "You didn't make me cry, idiot.. th-that just happens sometimes when I tihnk about it.." He then said, seeming a bit nervous, "I'd... I'd like it more if you came with me. Marnie gets so worried... I mean, you get worried too, but you're annoying optimistic all the time.."

he smiled softly and held onto him. "well.. stop your crying. you're gonna make me cry and then my eyeliner is going to run and it won't be pretty!" he said, his head falling into the males shoulder.

[peridot.]

He laughed a bit weakly and leaned into the other - it wasn't even much like he was hugging him anymore, instead just leaning onto him with his arms wrapped limply around the other - and said softly, sighing and smiling a bit, "M-Maybe stop wearing so much eyeliner. You look like a raccoon." Despite his teasing, it did seem like he had stopped crying.

he looked down and hesitated. "are you.. doing ok?"

"About as well as I usually am. Things aren't really... easy." He said, shrugging his shoulders and taking a deep breath.
