Gladio blinked, looking Noctis over. “...Alright. Just do your homework. I’ll take you down there after he’s done with the speech. You can spend some time with him and I’ll esccot you back here after.” He said.

“Thank you, Gladio.” Noctis said. He then did as told and continued doing his homework.

Ignis nodded. "and i'll have dinner ready for when you get back."

Noctis nodded. “Thanks Specs.” He murmjred softky.

he nodded and moved off.

Noctis sighed and looked down.

It was a few hours later. Gladio and Noctis had ended up going to see the king. However, they had stayed a bit later then what they originally planned. When Gladio got Noct back home, they went their separate ways. Gladio has to go back home and take care of his little sister.

Noct don entered the apartment, his gaze down. He closed the door behind him and slipped off his shoes

Ignis frowned softly, looking up from where he was checking noct's homework. "hey. how did it go?"

Noctis blinked, looking over at Ignis. He sighedand moved over to him. “...I’m not really sure.” He aaid.

he frowned softly. "did you learn anything while you were there?"

He sighed. “...I learned that my father is growing weaker everyday because he has to use his own life to keep up the wall around the city. If...If the empire wasn’t trying to attack the city everyday he wound g have to keep using his life and draining himself to keep that barrier up.” He said.

he frowned. "i know it's hard but there is a consequence to all actions, whether said actions are good or bad."
