Once outside, Noctis stopped. He could hear footsteps behind him and knew that it was most likely Prompto and Ignis. He turned, facing them. He glanced up at Prompto and Ignis.

prompto suddenly jumped at noct, hugging him tightly. "let's run away, noct!" he said quietly, holding onto him. Ignis seemed to hear and sighed. "for once, i agree."

Noctis staggered back at the sudden hug. He quickly caught his footing, resting a hand on Prompto’s back. He blinked, looking down. “Guys...You know I can’t do that.” Noctis whisoered. He looked up at Ignis. “Especially you, Iggy. You know that. You’ve always wanted me to step up and take responsibility. You’ve wanted me to grow into a king you could be proud of. I can’t do that by running away. If this is my responsibility, then so be it. My duty is to our people. If I abandon them, then I’m nothing but a coward.” He said
