Jesse frowned. "That's a lie and you know it! I'm tired of us fellows doing the dirty jobs and dying, while y'all sit around doin' nothing but counting your shiny medals the whole day!" Jesse hissed. Gabriel narrowed his eyes.

"Jesse, we do much more than that." Gabriel said.

"Bullshit! I don't remember the last time Jack went off on the battlefield himself. He only gives the orders for us to go out there and risk our lives. Someone like that doesn't deserve to lead Overwatch!" Jesse hissed, tears filling his eyes. Gabriel set a firm hand on his shoulder, gripping it.

"Jesse that is enough! You will show respect to Commander Morrison and apologize to him." Gabriel said sternly.

"Fuck off!" Jesse hissed, suddenly pushing away from Gabe. Jesse then quickly turned and rushed off.

"Mccree!" Gabriel called out. He sighed once Jesse had left his sight. "God damn that kid..." He trailed off.

jack frowned. "let it go, Gabe." he said, sighing. "i don't get to chise which battles i do anyways. the most recent ines were small so i wasn't needed anyways.."
he muttered and moved off to the filing room.

Gabriel looked over at Jack. He gently grabbed his arm. “...I’ll talk to him once he’s cooled down a bit. Don’t let what he said get to you. He’s just mourning the only way he knows how.” Gabriel said.

he sighed. "i'm fine Gabe. just go get some rest."

He blinked. “...Alright. Just come find me if you need anything.” He said. He then let god of his arm and moved off

After about two hours had passed, Jesse left his room. He had gone off to find Jack. He stopped however when he found him. He shifted, looking down down for a momemt before glancing back up at him. “Sir? I wanted to apologize for yelling at you earlier. I didn’t mean those things I said.” Jesse murmured

jack looked up and smiled. "it's fine. you know, i yelled at Gabe after my first funeral. i know what it's like."

Jesse sighed quietly. He blinked. "...I'm sorry sir." He murmured, looking down.

he shook his head. "don't apologise, jesse." he said and pat his shoulder gently. "oh and uh.. just so you know, i don't pick what missions i go on." he said and smirked.
