sen eventually answered the door, wearing a black apron and kitchen gloves. he blinked. "ah! you're early! sorry about.. my attire." he said and let the other in. "please, make yourself at home. just don't venture upstairs, it's a complete mess up there."

Sherlock nodded. “Sorry for arriving early.” He ssid. He then entered, looking around silently. It wasn’t a bad house. It was a bit odd how he could afford a nice place though with only being a teacher. They didn’t get paid that much.

he smiled slightly and nodded, moving back to the kitchen to finish cooking dinner. the house was large with tall and clean windows. he had book shelves full of books, both in alphabetical order and colour coordinated. each room seemed to have nearly perfect symmetry, if there was a plant on one side, there was a nearly identical plant on the other, and on the coffee table was a single wooden sculpture of an anatomically correct heart. here and there, there was charcoal or water colour paintings with sebastian's signature.

“Nice place.” Sherlock murmured after a while. He glanced around before looking over at Sebastian.

sebastian glanced over his shoulder and hummed. "thank you. i try to keep it nice." he said and smiled, finishing up what he needed and moved to the table to set down the plates and humming. "i really do appreciate you coming to talk to the class.", today."

Sherlock nodded. “Yeah. I suppose I do need to get out more. It got John to stop pestering me bout it so I guess it was worth it.” Sherlock said.

he smiled slightly and hummed, sitting at the table. "please, come sit." he said and looked over him. "so, you and john.. what is he to you?"

Sherlock blinked, taking a seat. He was a bit startled by the sudden question. Was he implying something? He had never been good on pickingup on these clues. “I’ve known John for three years now. We’re flat mates. Nothing more.” Sherlock said.

he chuckled softly and hummed. "i have never seen him look at someone the way he looks at you."

Sherlock scoffed. “John knows that I don’t feel those...Useless human emotions. The only thing that matters to me are the cases and the evidence. Everything else I erase from my mind.” Sherlock said. He blinked. “Love is a chemical defect found on the losing side. And you should never let your heart rule your head.” He said.
