Sherlock had this intuition. This gut feeling. He had been hearing of some disappearances. And the man by the name of Hannibal had caught Sherlock's interest. The male was having a dinner party tonight. And Sherlock had a feeling that a murder would happen there. So he had gone along with John to the party.

They soon arrived at the house. Sherlock scanned the house, taking in the details. His eyes were focused and hard, not easy to read any emotion from them. His lips were drawn into a tight line. He soon moved over to the door, knocking on it. A few others seemed to be here from the amount of cars in the driveway.

hannibal had been in the kitchen preparing the food when the two arrived- along with an entire team of cooks. he eventually moved off to wash his hands and mingle, and spotted them.  he frowned and tilted his head. he moved over and smiled slightly. "why, hello." he greeted and held a hand out to sherlock. "my name is hannibal lector, i don't believe we have met."

Sherlock offered a smile. “Hello sir.” He said, shaking his hand. “I’m Sherlock Holmes, this is my friend John Watson.” He greeted.

Will had already been at the house. He looked over at John and Sherlock. “Sherlock Holmes huh? I’ve heard quite a bit about you.” Will said

he shook john's hand once he had shook sherlocks, and hannibal looked at will. "have you?" he asks f

Will nodded. “Yes. Consulting detective who works with Scotland Yard.” He said. Sherlock blinked.

“Well, they’d be completely helpless without me.” Sherlock said. Will smiked.

“Certainly quite the adventures you go on.” Will said

he hummed. "scotland yard, hm? quite a ways from maryland." he said curiously. "why did you decide to attend?"

Sherlock blinked. “My friend here was hounding me to get out a bit more. So I figured this would be a start on becoming more social.” Sherlock said. Will eyed him.

“Right. Well, make yourself at home. We’re all friends here.” Will said

hannibal examined sherlock and crossed his arms slowly. "except, mr. holmes, you're lying."

Sherlock blinked, looking up at Hannibal. He was silent for a moment. “...Why would I be lying?” He asked

he scowled. "you continue to scan the room, you smile but your eyes hold no emotion. your arm was stiff when you shook my hand." he listens dan shogun sighed. "just tell him, sherlock."
