// Trigger warning for mentions of depressions and possible suicide attempts and violence
It had been seven years since the fall of Overwatch. No one had been in contact ever since the final day. Everyone went their separate ways, or they had ended up dying in the explosion at the main base. And the omnic crisis wasn't getting any better. In fact, it was only spreading and getting worse.
Word had gotten out, however. Winston had sent out a video calling for any remaining overwatch members to meet up with him. Because the world still needed heroes. Of course, Jesse wasn't going to deny that. Overwatch had become his family. And he wasn't about to turn his back on them.
Jesse soon arrived at the base Winston was located in. He entered the building, looking around. He soon arrived in a larger room, which appeared to be a common room. Instantly, he was greeted with a few members from Overwatch. Jesse looked them over before smiling.
"Hello there." Jesse greeted, looking the group over. This was the first time he had seen everyone in seven years. The group looked over. Instantly, a few members moved over.
"My, it's been a long time Jesse. It's nice to see that you've grown into a fine young man." A woman said, giving Jesse a quick embrace before moving away. Jesse galnced over at her and smiled.
"Ana. It's been far too long. I'm glad to see you're still going strong." He said. Ana was a mother figure to him. Really, she was the mother of the whole group. Everyone respected her. Pharah was in the room as well. She smiled.
"Ah, good to see the cowboy didn't kick the bucket yet. You had us worried." She said. Jesse chuckled.
"Jack is going to be so happy to see you again." Ana said. Jesse glanced at her and his smile faltered. He looked a bit confused.
"Jack? He's...He's still alive?" Jesse asked. Ana stared at him before her eyes widened.
"Oh. I guess you wouldn't have known. Yes, he did survive the explosion." Ana said.
