hancock blinked and smiled. "hey there. i'm hancock, mayor of good neighbour about a three day walk from here." he stated and held out a hand to shake. "good to meet you."

He blinked and shook the other's hand, saying cheerfully, "Good to meet you too! I don't think I've ever been to Goodneighbor, but I'm sure it's a nice place. I mostly just stay around here and oversee things."

he smirked. "you ought to stop by! i'm sure you'd love it!" he said and looked around. "so.. tell me about sanctuary."

[peridot.]

He blinked and said, slightly surprised, "Sanctuary...? Oh, well, it's nothing all that exciting. We let anybody stay here as long as they're friendly and don't discriminate, and I generally try to keep the place as well kept up as I can. Which can be hard sometimes.."

he smiled slightly. "it looks real nice. compared to this place, goodneighbour is a dump."

He blushed and said, grinning cheerfully, "Well... thank you! I'm glad you think it looks very nice. Although I'm sure Goodneighbor is nice too."

he chuckled. "mind giving me a tour, maybe telling me about the history of this place? it almost looks prewar."

hancock had decided to take a small break from his job as mayor of goodneighbour and just do some traveling. he had briefly thought about of visiting his brother, but then realised that probably wouldn't be very smart, so he just went around visiting settlements, asking around and telling them about goodneighbour. eventually, he came to a place called sanctuary. it seemed even more fortified then diamond city, which was really saying something. he halted when search lights froze on him and he put his hands up. "hey there! I'm Hancock, mayor of goodneighbour! Just passing through!" he called to the guards and waved. eventually, the gate opened just enough for him to enter. he walked inside and coughed as he was sprayed with what seemed like some form of chemical and fanned the chemicals away. he looked around and scowled. "well.. thanks for that."

A soft male voice rang out as Hancock fanned at the chemicals, and a short but cheerfully looked tan male with dark freckles over his face stepped forward, "Sorry about that, but it was necessary. There's some... bad stuff out there, I'm sure you know." He then said, looking the other male over before smiling brightly, "Anyways, I'm Una! I guess I'm kinda like the leader of Sanctuary. It's nice to meet you!"
