"It's nothing, Draal!" Jim quickly said, turning a bright red. He glared at Eli, saying softly, "No, it is not. I told you, I don't think he's hot, Eli."

eli smirked. "yeah you do! you're getting like you used to get around claire!" he teased. draal blinked and looked between them. he then looked at steve, knowing he other would probably know.

Jim made a flustered sound, feeling his chest all filled with butterflies, "I am not!" Meanwhile, Steve sighed and said nonchalantly to Draal, "They're talking about how Jim likes you."

he laughed and shook his head. "sure, sure." he said and draal looked to jim. "of course fleshbag likes me. he wouldn't let me live in his basement if he didn't." he said in confusion.

Steve sighed and said softly, "No, I mean Eli means Jim likes you in a romantic way. Uhm... I don't know how to put it. Do trolls have something like mates? If they do, he means that Jim wants to be your mate." Jim turned red and shouted at Steve, huffing, "Stop explaining things!"

draal blinked. "oh! we do, we do, i just don't think it's common to have two males mating.." he said thoughtfully. "i would have to ask vendal."

Jim blushed and said, flustered, "Draal, you don't have to do that! I don't want to be your mate!"

he blinked once his eyes adjusted and moved out into the kitchen area, his eyes wide. eli smirked. "you could have just said he was hot." he said and draal looked at jim. "hot? my temperature is not high, is it?"

Jim continued to be red, and he glared at Eli, saying softly, "Shut up, alright?" He then said to Draal, sighing softly, "That's... not what he meant, Draal." Meanwhile, Steve seemed a bit disgruntled by Eli's words.
