eli snickered and stood. "i'm gonna go snoop~" he said and moved to the screen near the kitchen that closed off the kitchen and dining room.

Steve chuckled and sat up, watching the other. Jim, meanwhile, said softly to Draal as he cooked, blushing a bit, "Would you, uhm, want to help me with the food?"

draal blinked, looking at him. "how would i be of any help?"

[peridot.]

"Uhm, you just need to keep an eye on the sauce for me and make sure it doesn't bubble over or anything while I'm draining the pasta." He said, blinking.

[dannychan]

he blinked and looked to the sauce, before getting close to the pot and covering an eye, quite literally watching the sauce.. with one eye.

[peridot.]

Jim blinked and began to laugh softly, saying quietly, "I didn't mean it literally, Draal. It's an expression. Just watch the sauce." He then moved to drain the pasta, humming.

[dannychan]

he blinked and removed his hand but didn't move.

Jim finished draining the pasta and moving to put the pot of now dry pasta on the counter, saying with a little smile as he moved to turn down the sauce, "Thank you, Draal."

he snorted and giggled. "yeah. jim is trying really hard but uh.. just look at draal! don't tell me you don't think he's at least good looking~

"He's pretty nice looking, but I'm pretty sure if I said that out loud Jim would stab me." He said, chuckling and pointing over at Jim, who was trying his best to stay focused on cooking, but kept glancing over Draal.
