tuff looked up and smiled slightly. "oh, hey hiccup." he greeted and looked out over dragons edge, narrowing his eyes and scrunching up his nose "couldn't sleep. it's getting too cold.."

He blinked and said softly, shifting a bit, "Oh, I guess it is pretty cold... I didn't notice it as much while I was walking around.."

[dannychan]

he blinked. "why are you up?" he asked curiously and pat ne t to him on the porch.

He blinked and moved to sit down beside the other, saying softly, "Uhm.... no reason in particular. I'm not really great at sleeping."

[dannychan]

he nodded. "id agree but that'd be a total lie." he chuckled and the chicken clicked. lol don't snore!" he scolded.

Hiccup laughed softly, saying with a little smile, "Well, I'm glad that you can usually sleep well."

[dannychan]

he smiled slightly. "have you tried tea before sleeping?"

[peridot.]

He shook his head and said, smiling slightly, "Not really. I've never really tried anything to try and fix it."

uhhhhhhh ye for possible violence?

tuff hadn't been able to sleep. it was getting cold in dragons edge (a dragon sanctuary that the riders had formed) and even his sister and all the furs on her bed didn't block it out. as he found it getting later and later, the blond viking would leave the bad, rubbing his eyes and grabbing the chicken he had made friends with, moving outside and sitting in the edge of the raised porch that was his and his sisters hug, petting the chickens sides slowly. as the chicken clicked loudly and huddled down in his lap. "yeah, i totally agree, chicken. we need something warmer." he sighed, trying to stay quiet since it was the middle of the night. he didn't realise, however, that the leader of their little crew was having the same issue.

Hiccup wasn't quite as cold as Tuff, but he still couldn't sleep or anything. He had pretty much always been sort of a restless person, and he tried his best not to alert other people to that fact. He had spent a bit of time with Toothless, but now he was just kinda wandering around. He blinked in confusion when he heard the voice, and he frowned a bit, saying softly to Tuff, "Huh? What are you doing awake?"
