Angela was silent for a moment. "...Jesse and Lena are having a child together?" Angela asked, seeming a bit confused. "I thought she was into girls?" Angela asked.

he shook his head. "that's.. jesse's sister." he hissed. "the.. you know. dead one?" he said quietly to her so juliet wouldn't hear.

"Oh!" Angela said. "...How is she back? What did she say happened?" Angela asked.

Jesse glanced over at Gabe. He then glanced down at Juliet. He waited a moment before lifting her up, sitting her on his shoulders. She blinked, steadying herself before laughing. "I always liked it up here. I like being tall." She said. Jesse smiled softly.

"yeah. One day you will be tall." He murmured. Jack glanced them over before looking away.

"We should get back to the base." Jack said.

he frowned. "ask lena." he said quietly and nodded to jack.

Angela sighed. "Okay." she said. She then hung up.

Jesse started walking back to the base, keeping her on his shoulders. Jack watched him before looking at Gabe

Gabe frowned. "what are we going to do?" he asked jack quietly.

Jack blinked. "I...I don't know. Having her here might mess something up since she's not from this time. we may have to find a way to send her back." He whispered. He frowned. "But...I don't know how we'll be able to do that. Jesse...Looked really happy." He whispered.

he sighed. "i know.. but.. what if that's not how it works?"

He blinked. "You mean if...She can stay here?" He asked. "If this isn't a problem, I don't see why keeping her here would be bad." He said.

he nodded. "lena goes back all the time without problems. it's not like she's careful. maybe there isn't anything that's really like the butterfly effect."
