he frowned and nodded. "especially one so.. lifelike." he said absently and frowned.

He glanced at Edward. “This painting...Is it of you?” He asked.

he nodded. "my lover painted it two days before she killed me. i don't know what happened after.."

Castiel frowned. He moved over to the painting. “You were murdered in this house, correct? And was the painting here in this house the entire time?” He asked

he frowned. "yes it was." he said and frowned. "but i wasn't.. in the house. i was dragged outside and.." he let out a shaky breath, licking his hips. "stapled through the chest with a massive wooden stake, and pushed into a bon fire and held there until i died." he mumbled.

Castiel frowned. He set a hand on the painting. After a momemt, his eyes started glowing and his body went ridged. After a minute, he drew his hand away and his eyes stopped glowing. He was breathing a bit heavily.

he frowned. "what?"

He blinked. “...I was able to look back at last memories. Objects like this...Some objects can have strong emotions and memories attached to them, allowing me to relive them.” He said. He glanced at Edward. “...I’m so sorry for what happened to you, Edward.” He whisoered

he frowned and watched him, setting his jaw. "can you.. find out what happened to guinesse?"
