He blinked. “It’s-“ He trailed off suddenly when he heard “Deadlock Gang” on the tv. Jesse blinked, frowning a bit. He froze when the news reporter mentioned a shoot out happened involving some of their members with another gang in the town. Jesse’s eyes widened.

He then quickly got to his feet. Jack frowned. “Jesse? What are you doing?” He asked.

“...I need to see if he’s okay.” Jesse said. He then turned, leaving the house. Jack froze.

“Kid, Wait!” He called oit, getting up as well.

Jesse winced, resting a hand on his ribs. He heard Gabe, but he didn't stop. After a minute, Jack had caught up to him. Jack gently, but firmly held Jesse's shoulder. "Jesse, you rushing there may put yourself at risk." he said.

"I...I know that. But I can't sit by and do nothing." Jesse said, keeping his gaze ahead.
