Jack looked Jesse over. He blinked, slowly wrapping an arm around Jesse. He then pulled the smaller male over to himself. Jesse seemed to curl up into Jack’s side. Jack raised a hand, stroking his hair gently.

“God damn...This kid really didn’t have the best of luck in his life.” Jack whispered.

he nodded. "let's just put the air mattress in our room. we can get him new clothes tomorrow and then fly to cali the day after that." he said. "i don't want him waking up and panicking.."

He nodded. “Okay...You want me to set everything up?” Jack asked.

he shook his head "i've got it." he said softly.

Jack nodded. “Okay.” He said. He then looked down at Jesse. When Jesse let out a quiet whimper, Jack started humming softly, continuing to stroke his hair.

he moved off and after a few minutes he returned. "ok. let's get him in bed..@ he said softly.

Jack nodded. He glanced down at Jesse. He stood up, shifting Jesse before managing to lift the other into his arms. “...Good god, he’s fucking light.” Jack whispered. He looked the other over before carrying him to the bedroom.

he sighed and ran a hand over his mouth. "the mom in my is screaming." he said and looked at jesse worriedly.

Jack blinked. “...Good to know you have that motherly instinct. Didn’t think you had it in you.” He said. Once in the bedroom, he gently laid Jesse down on the air mattress. He then covered him up with a blanket, looking him over befor straightening back up.

“...He’ can’t be more then 17 years old. So he’s been in that gang ever since he was 7. No wonder he’s this skinny for his age.” Jack said, looking the other over. “I can’t even imagine what happened at his home to drive him away whenhe was 7.” He said
