he stood slowly and nodded, moving the the kitchen, pausing to watch ian for a moment before going to warm up a bottle.

Svetlana teased from where she sat with Yevgeny, knowing that Ian wasn't listening, "You know, orange boy would probably make a very good housewife. Or maid." And yes, she did know Ian's name, she just chose not to use it.

he looked at svetlana. "that's what you're for." he said bluntly.

"You may think I'm insulting myself, but he does a far better job of it than I do. He's just so wonderfully passive sometimes. For example, he's never even brought up the fact that I haven't called him by his name once." She pointed out. This time, Ian did seem to overhear, and he winced slightly at her mean tone, but didn't say anything, just continuing to cook.

he blinked. "i think that just makes you a raging bitch." he stated and tested the milk on his wrist. "isn, is this too hot?"

Lana rolled her eyes and moved to focus her attention back on Yevgeny, and Ian blinked and moved to inspect the milk. He frowned a bit and said softly, tilting his head, "Just a bit, yeah. Just give it a minute to cool."

he nodded and set it aside. he looked at ian. "what are you making?"

Ian blinked and smiled softly, saying quietly as he got back to working on breakfast, "Uhm, omelettes. Svetlana took out the ingredients for just some basic scrambled eggs, but I saw I could make omelettes and I offered so.. yeah."

he nodded. "once you're done, do you want to take him or are there bottles in the fridge?"

"There are some bottles in the fridge ready to be heated up." She said, watching Ian out of the corner of her eye. He was humming softly as he cooked, seeming peaceful and borderline sleepy.
