[dannychan]

he sighed. "do you know how to dance?"

[peridot.]

He blushed and said, letting out a little huff, "Of course I know how to dance. But you're shorter, so.." With one hand, he moved to put it on Mickey's hip, pulling him a little bit closer.

[dannychan]

he made a soft noise as he was pulled closer and sighed. "mandy made me practice with her for two hours before the dance." he said bitterly and st his hands on his shoulders. "and don't think you can go around telling anyone about this. if you do, you're fucking dead."

[peridot.]

Ian's stomach twisted up a bit, but he didn't panic, smiling and giggling a bit as he began to sway to the music, saying softly, "I won't tell anybody, cross my heart~" He seemed quite happy, his face a bit flushed.

[dannychan]

the entire time, mickey refused to look directly at ian, his face red. he huffed softly, looking down.

[peridot.]

Ian looked the other over as they swayed gently, and he said softly once the song ended, smiling softly, "You're... you're nothing like my brother said you were."

[dannychan]

he looked at him. "what'd he say?"

[peridot.]

"He said I should stay away from you... cause you were kind of mean, and dumb, and you would get me in trouble too." He explained, before glancing down for a moment, "But I never really thought that he was right... and I've even talked to Mandy a couple of times, and she's really nice too.." He then gave the other a little but happy smile, saying softly, "But you weren't mean to me, and I don't even care about getting in trouble cause this was so fun... and you don't seem dumb. Lip just thinks everybody is dumb because he's a genius."

he stared at him and sighed, looking around and moving to the door, cracking it open and taking off his shoes to hold it open to the music that echoed through the school would reach them. he threw his can aside and took off his jacket, holding out his hand after he tossed that aside too.

[peridot.]

When the other did this, he stared at Mickey in surprise and seemed to hesitate before getting to his feet. He moved over to the other and took his hand, seeming nervous.
