He watched him, sighing. “...Gabe, I’m not going to judge you from your looks. You should know this by now.” He said, resting a hand on his back. He then got to his feet.

he shook his head. "i know, but you'd have nightmares."

He blinked. “I’ve seen war, Gabe. Nothing can be scarier then that.” He said. He then moved away

he blinked. "i gave myself nightmares." he muttered.

Jesse glnced at him. “...I’m sorry Dad.” He murmjred. He then left the room.

Jesse hadended up leaving the base. He knew Gabriel was upset and missing Jack. So Jesse had started tracking him down secretly. He located his whereabouts and had started wandering there. Surprisingly, he wasn’t too far from the base.

After about two hours of walking, Jesse had stumbled upon Jack’s small camp he had made. He glanced around, frowning. “Jack?” Jesse called out. Jesse jumped when Jack suddenly turned to him, aiming his gun at Jesse. Jesse froze, raising his hands. “No no! Don’t shoot! It’s me, Jesse.” He said quickly. Jack blinked, lowering his gun.

“Jesse? The hell are you doing here kid?” He asked. Jesse looked him over.

“I came to take you back to talon.” He said. Jack frowned.

“Why woukd you do that? I’m not joining them.” He said. Jesse sighed

“And why the hell not, Jack?” He asked, looking at him. “Gabriel is there. And he misses you. I miss you. Why is that not reason enough to come back?” Jesse asked. “We’re your family. You think we’re just going to forget about you that easily? I know you’re still pissed about the explosion but that wasn’t Gabe’s fault. All you need to do is go to him and apologize. I don’t want to see you two split up.” Jesse said

Gabe slowly lay on his side, putting his mask and hood on.

Jack sighed. "After what happened, I can't go back to him." Jack said. "Our relationship had fallen apart before the explosion even happened. It's over between us, Jesse." He said. Jesse looked him over.

"The hell Jack..." Jesse trailed off. "...If you don't want to be a part of this family anymore, then fine. But at least go say goodbye to Gabriel properly instead of just taking off." Jesse hissed.

Gabe sighed and got up, moving to his room and to the bed.

Jack sighd, watching him. "...Kid, just forget about it." He murmured. Jesse looked him over before glancing away.

"...Fine" He whispered. He then turned, heading off. He stopped however, a hand on his side. He cursed under his breath. Jack frowned, looking at him.

"Jesse?" Jack asked. Jesse glanced down, looking at his hand. He had some blood on it. He must have opened a stitch while walking out here. Jack frowned, looking at him. He cursed under his breath before moving over to Jesse. "Come on kid. Let's get you back to the base." He said. He then wrapped an arm around Jesse, helping him along back to the base.
