Gabe hesitated. "she didn't know of any side effects, that's why they had to be careful.. why? what's wrong?" suddenly, Gabe looked.. scared.

Jack frowned. "Jesse's gone. He tried to shoot me and....He's changed. I don't know what happened. But he's....He's not Jesse anymore." He whispered.

Moira was out in the other room, talking to Mercy. They fell silent when she heard Gabe calling for her. She blinked, moving off, stopping when she spotted Gabe. "Gabe, what's wrong?" She asked.

Moira blinked, frowning. "What?" She asked. She glanced at Mercy. "I thought I specifically told you not to do anything unless I was in the room with you!" She hissed. Mercy frowned.

"I didn't do anything. All I did was show him to his room." she said.

"Well he wasn't like that when we first entered the building." Jack murmured, moving over to stand beside Gabe. "...Now you two can bicker all you like, but I'm going to go out there and look for our son. Now you two can help or you can sit here." Jack muttered. Mercy glanced at him.

"Jack...He tried to shoot you. Maybe he can't be saved." Mercy said. Jack narrowed his eyes.

"Yeah. Maybe. But that's Gabe's and my child out there. And I'll be damned if I don't go out there to look for him or try to get through to him." Jack muttered

Gabe growled. "fuck you, angela." he snapped and frowned. "kids!" he yelled. "were leaving! moira, you come to."

Moira nodded. She glanced at Mercy. "If you ever come near that kid again, so help me I won't hesitate to kill you." Moira hissed to Mercy. She then turned, leaving the room with the others. "What direction did Jesse go?" She asked.

"I don't know...He could be anywhere now with those damn powers he has." Jack said.
