It was the next morning, around seven in the morning. When they had admitted Jack into the hospital the night before, they had run a bunch of tests on him. They would know by today what was going on. For the time being, Jack couldn't really do much of anything. He hadn't really been doing much. He was mostly just drugged the entire visit so far, so he had been drifting in and out of consciousness the whole time.

Jack was currently awake right now however. He was propped up in a sitting position on the bed. He glanced over at Gabe, who was currently sitting on a chair. The poor guy had been pretty much up all night worrying about Jack so now he was passed out. In a very uncomfortable position by the looks of it. Jack was sure Gabe would be complaining about sore muscles later on today because of this.

Jack looked the other over. He then looked around. Moira wasn't in the room, so she had either gone out to get food or check on the kids.

Gabe eventually started to shift and made a soft noise. "jesus christ.." he breathed and rubbed his neck, opening one eye and then the other after a moment. he looked at jack and let out a breath. "hey.."

Jack glanced over at Gabe. "Morning beautiful." He murmured, his voice slightly scratchy from just having woken up. However, he offered a soft smile. "You probably fucked up your neck big time sleeping like that." he whispered

He blinked, sighing. "Honestly, sore. But it's mostly from sitting and laying down for so long." He said. "Other then that uh...Pretty drugged up." He murmured. He then looked Gabe over, resting a hand on his.

he made a soft noise. "yeah. i can understand that." he mumbled and moved closer. "how's your breathing?"

He blinked. "It's find for now Gabe." He murmured. He glanced him over. "....How are you Gabe?" He asked.

He blinked. He let out a soft laugh. "Smart ass." He murmured. He then gently tugged him down, kissing him softly. He rested a hand on the back of his neck gently. He then pulled away from the kiss. "How's your neck feeling since you slept horribly on it?" He asked.

he hummed. "like it got run over by a truck." he said and leaned to kiss him gently.
