Jack shushed him softly, keeping him close. He turned his head, pressing a soft kiss to Gabe's cheek.

he held onto him, frowning.

Jack soon pulled away when the doctor came in. He glanced over at him. "Did you make a decision?" The doctor asked. Jack nodded.

"I'll go through with the surgery." He said. The doctor noddd.

"Very well...We will start in a half an hour." The doctor said. He then glanced at Gabe. "I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave so we can prep him for the surgery." He said.

he hesitated. "but.. can't our son come to see him first..?"

He blinked. "You two have a son?" He asked. He nodded. "...Yeah. We can postpone it. But not for long. The sooner the better for him." The doctor said. Jack nodded.

'I understand. Thank you." Jack aid. The doctor nodded before leaving.

Gabe looked down and nuzzles jack a little more.

Jack wrapped his free arm around Gabe. He then ran his fingers along his spine.

After a bit, Moira entered the room with Jesse. Jack glanced over at them. Jack offered a soft smile. "Hey kiddo." He greeted. Jesse looked him over before walking over to Jack and Gabe.

Gabe held an arm out to jesse, frowning.

Jesse moved over, hugging Gabe and Jack. Jack blinked, moving an arm to wrap around Jesse. Jesse sniffed quietly, keeping close to them. Jack blinked, pressing a kiss to Jesse's head.

"...You're going to come back right?" Jesse asked quietly. Jack looked him over.

"Jesse....I don't plan on dying during surgery. But it's still a possibility that can happen. If...If that does happen, I need you to take care of Gabriel for me." Jack murmured. Jesse froze, gripping Jack's shirt. He looked on the verge of breaking down, but he was holding himself together. Jesse nodded.

"Yes sir." Jesse murmured, keeping his gaze down.

gebe gently brushed jesse's hair back, frowning.
