Jesse shifted. “I Uh...” He trailed off when Jack moved over. His eyes widened.

“Holy shit kid.” He whisoered, looking around.

“...I tried making a cake for you, but...” Jesse fell silent. He really shouldn’t be left alone in the kitchen.

he looked like he was holding back laughter and let out a deep breath through his nose. "what did it do? explode?"

Jesse shifted. “...Maybe.” He said, looking down. Jack suddenly started laughing, causing Jesse to grow only more embarassed

he laughed and moved to hug jesse. "oh, at least you tried." he said and looked at the kitchen. "and i hope you know you get to clean it up before tomorrow morning."

Jesse blinked, hugging Gabe back. He nodded. “I had planned to anyway.” He said. He blinked. “God I’m such a horrible son...I don’t even know how old you’re going to be.” He murmjred

he shook his head. "you're the best son a father could ask for." he said and hummed. "also, i turned 51 today." he behind him he heard hanzo choke on the water he had been drinking.

Jesse froze, his eyes widening. “What!?” He askes, suddenly pulling away. He looked up at him. “You’re 51?” He askes. Jack nodded.

“Yeah, and I’m 53.” Jack said. “We were part of the super soldiers. We’ve been...Enhanced I guess. We look younger then what we are.” He said.

he nodded and hummed. "yep. i'm an old me. just without the creaky bones."

Jesse blinked. “Ana said you guys were in your 30’s!” He said. Jack chuckled

“That’s just her trying to hold onto the past.” He said, ruffling Jesse’s hair. He then smiled. “Tell you what, I’ll help you clean the kitchen.” Jack said

Gabe hummed. "she's just salty." he chuckled and moved to help as well.
