Jack soon entered the room. He spotted Gabe laying in bed with the rabbit plush. Jack's heart broke at the sight. It was devastating. It had been a few years now, but Gabriel never really did recover from their child's death. And there was nothing Jack could do to lessen Gabe's pain.

Jack slowly moved over to the bed, sitting down beside him. He then raised a hand, resting it on Gabe's head. He then ran his fingers through Gabriel's soft curls of hair. He didn't know what else he could do to help him.

he this, broke into sobs again, squeezing his eyes shut to try and stop his tears and sat up, leaning into jack and trembling slightly.

Jack turned so he was facing Gabriel. He then moved both of his arms to wrap around Gabe. He held him as close as he could, resting his chin on the top of Gabe's head. He ran a hand along the other's spine as he rocked them slowly. "I know sweetheart...I miss him too." Jack whispered. He shfited his head down, placing a kiss on top of Gabe's hair.

he sobbed, taking shaky breaths and moving an arm around the other males neck, still holding the plush.

Jack let his eyes close as he held Gabe. He placed another kiss to his head. He shushed him, raised his hand to rest on the back of Gabe's head.

it was a very long time before Gabe finally calmed down, sniffing softly and wiping the tears from his cheeks. he really did just look exhausted.

Jack didn't pull away once gabe stopped crying. He only shifted them, slowly laying down on the bed and bring Gabe down with him. "Try to get some rest, my love." He murmured.

He smiled. "I'll continue to say it if it means I get to see that smile of yours, even if it is only a small one." He murmured. He rubbed his back. "I love you too Gabe." He whispered.

he hummed and simply closed his eyes, adjusting his position so him and jack were spooning.
